“Sketching initiates the hands-on process. The essence of form is created on the pipe by free blowing and shaping. At times frustrating, but often pointing to a new direction or return to sketching. Glass is an active co-author all along. Strictly imposing my will rarely delivered.”
-- Alexander Fekete
Alexander Fekete arrived in the U.S. from Czechoslovakia in 1992. His affair with sculpted glass started around the same time, coming into clearer focus over the last decade. The Marshall Gallery of Fine Art is pleased to represent and showcase the fine glass sculptures of Alex Fekete.
