A psalm is, by definition, a hymn or sacred song. "Psalm of Joy" is the music of my heart - soaring yet soft, crescendoing yet gentle and quiet. Pinks, purples, yellows, and oranges move forward and back adding depth and foreground at the same time. The painting is about beauty and harmony, but also about how light diverts and bends to create melodious chords of color.
